Even some of our favorite cars to own, drive, and work on, have some flaws… the Porsche 997 Turbo is not an exception.

Although an extremely well-honed weapon out of the factory in Stuttgart, after years of use it is apparent that there are a few areas where the engineers missed the mark.

Coolant Pipe Failure is where our Team of Experts will be turning their attention to during this visit.

What happens is that over time the seals between the engine block and the outlet tubes fail, eventually leading to a coolant leak. A minor drip here or there isn’t a big deal, but on a high horsepower, rear-engined car, having the possibility of putting engine coolant under the rear tires is not something we like to envision!

Our Porsche Repair Service Team considers this a must-do Maintenance item for all Porsche 997 Turbo’s.

Although not cheap, investing the money to properly maintain your Porsche is much cheaper in the long run than waiting on minor issues until they cause a major problem.

After installing and doing a few post-installation checks the crew here at RSW can safely say this 997.1 Turbo is good for whatever the owner throws at it!
