Redline Speed Worx (RSW) is proud to share a recent Porsche 991 Turbo that our Team recently upgraded with a complete Akrapovic Exhaust System as well as a complimenting ECU Upgrade from Cobb Tuning. The Akrapovic Porsche Exhaust System is the perfect upgrade for your 991.

Both Akrapovic and Cobb Tuning are valued Performance Partners, and our Team is a fully Authorized Retailer and installation Center for both manufactures in New Jersey.

Specializing in late model Porsche Vehicles we have rapidly been building our 991 owner customer base, which is to no surprise due to the great success of this new platform from Porsche. After building 991’s from mild to wild, our Team is taking our prior experience in assisting the owner of this 911 Turbo with tasteful modifications that truly enhance the driving experience.

Our Team of Certified Porsche Technicians wasted no time in tearing down the 991 Turbo in preparation for removing the factory exhaust system. The installation of the Akrapovic Exhaust does require removal of the rear bumper assembly and tail lamps.

The Akrapovic Slip-On Line for the Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S is the first stage in the exhaust tuning process and gives this already outstanding car a further step in performance. Made from a high-grade titanium alloy and finished with exquisitely handcrafted carbon fibre and titanium tailpipes, the Slip-On Line reduces weight to aid with handling.

Akrapovic’s sound engineers have also created a deep and unique sound to make the Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S stand out even more. The Slip-On Line was used in conjunction with the optional Akrapovič link pipes—without cats (offered / race only)—these were added to the system to take the performance to another level.

The Slip-On Line is superbly finished with a coating to give greater durability, without altering the look or performance of the system.

Cars equipped with Akrapovic Porsche exhaust systems benefit from additional performance and increased responsiveness. Significant gains in power and torque are achieved throughout the entire rpm range.

The next step from Akrapovič for the Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S is the optional titanium link pipe set without cats, perfectly finished with a coating to offer greater durability without altering the look. Designed to create the best exhaust flow and offering a huge weight saving over stock—when used in conjunction with the Slip-On—the link pipes increase power and give the car a sporty racing sound. Enhancing the tuning opportunities of this superb car, the link pipes without cats are an easy-to-install performance upgrade.

When installing Akrapovic Porsche aftermarket optional link pipes without catalytic converters, which are developed for use on closed tracks only, remapping the ECU is mandatory.

The final product after installation is complete by RSW’s Certified Porsche Technicians is nothing short of incredible. This is the only exhaust system you can upgrade a brand new Porsche Turbo with that has more technical engineering into it then Porsche themselves.

Did you know Akrapovic Made the Factory OEM Porsche Exhaust System for the 997 GT2.

The following year Porsche decided to produce the titanium system in house only to find out they technologically we not able to.

The Porsche Turbo was further enhanced with the optional hand-crafted carbon fiber rear diffuser. Designed exclusively for the car, this stunning handcrafted diffuser takes the look of the rear of the vehicle to a whole new level and shows off the Akrapovic Porsche Slip-On line system’s tailpipes to their full extent.

On to the car, HOLY $HIT!!! Couldn’t push to much because of traffic but it just pulls and doesn’t stop. 0-80 in a matter of no time. Totally different car. Even normal driving is beyond better than stock. I know the tune doesn’t do anything for the trans but the car shifts smoother, can’t feel the shifts. Stock it use to down shift a bit rough. Completely gone. Windows cracked, I can hear the turbo spool and air being pulled in the intake. All that and on 93, I can’t imagine E85.
